I graduated from Fordham University in 2012 with a degree in International Studies. I was a member of the Dean's List. Before Fordham, I attended Bergenfield High School where I was a member of the National Honor Society. During college, I was active in Fordham Nightly News, the university's award-winning student run television station. I was also president of the Student Arts Guild, a club dedicated to promoting an appreciation of the arts.
Experience
I have tutored numerous students in various subjects from English to French. My strengths lie in Reading and Writing. I am a professional television journalist. I work for a local news station. Thus, I write and hone my writing skills daily. I love tutoring because I have an affinity for helping people. Nothing makes me feel better than seeing a student succeed in a subject, especially if he/she has previously struggled in that subject. I strive to create a safe and comfortable environment with my students. Finally, I am thorough and believe excellence in a topic originates from a solid understanding of concepts, theories, and ideas that make up a subject.

Hobbies
I love reading, cooking, and playing music. I love being active as well. I run often and have competed in a triathlon and a marathon. I am looking to do more! I love hiking and exploring the outdoors. I enjoy traveling and love learning about the histories of different cities and towns. I also love volunteering. In fact, I recently organized a book drive to donate books to children in the Philippines because I am passionate about education and literacy.
