I attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. I also attended Manhattanville College. I spent some time as a teacher in another country, and now I am living in White Plains, New York, eager to tutor. The subjects I specialize in include English as a second language, TOEFL, test preparation skills, public speaking, and English. My mother pegged me a natural teacher before I went abroad, and she was right. My experience with ESL students led to a lifelong desire to educate and learn. I am always looking for new things to discover in this world. As an instructor, I receive just as much benefit as the people I teach. I always go the extra mile to make sure each person has the necessary tools for success. I prefer the environment of tutoring, as opposed to classroom teaching, because of the one-on-one interaction. My interests are being in the outdoors, swimming, skiing, writing, and music.
