Experience
Teaching is one of my biggest passions in life. It seems that no matter where my career takes me, I always find a way to come back to tutoring and teaching. Watching others reach their goals and get excited about unexpected subjects makes me proud. My passion is in mathematics and science. The areas I enjoy teaching the most are chemistry, biology, physics, calculus, trigonometry, and algebra.I obtained a degree in Biological Engineering from Cornell University. While in college, I spent six semesters mentoring and teaching others. During this time, I was fortunate enough to work as a physics teaching assistant and lead a Medical College Admissions Test preparation program. I was also given the opportunity to be involved with the Cornell Prison Education Program. With this program, I was responsible for assisting inmates with statistics and general mathematics. Presently, I am a psychiatric research assistant. This is my full time job in which I study the functions of the human brain. When I am not working or in a classroom setting, I am involved in many athletic activities. Whether it's skiing down the slopes, playing on the volleyball court, going on a scuba diving adventure, or rock climbing indoors, I enjoy being active.
