Pre-nursing Major & English Minor at Westchester Community College. This is my 3rd year attending WCC and I plan on transferring to a 4 year school within the next year.
Experience
I am fluent in Spanish, I have taken several computer coures and I am a straight A English student. I enjoy helping others succeed because education is very important. The tutoring experience I have is helping my husband, whose first language is not English. He had difficulty with any English class he has ever taken and I've helped him greatly improve his grammar and writing skills. He has always told me that I should be a tutor. I also have experience teaching co-workers Spanish. I work in a hospital and there is a big language barrier because so many patients are spanish-speaking only. Spanish is becoming so universal and it is a big plus to be fluent in the language. Also, it looks great on your resume that you are bilingual. Sometimes it is a job requirement.
