Ludovica C.
Private tutor in White Plains, NY
Education
I was born and raised in Italy, where I received a thorough education in modern and ancient history, as well as Latin, Greek, Italian, French, and English literatures and languages. After graduating Summa cum Laude in Classical Archaeology and Art Conservation, I received a grant to complete my training in France; there, in 2013, I obtained a French Language Advanced Diploma (DALF).
Experience
I have a lot of tutoring experience, developed in both Europe and US. I believe that the best way to learn a language is to start with simple phrases and then gradually build up to more complex ones. You will be amazed to see how quickly and easily you will find yourself speaking in a different language! My experience in language learning techniques taught me how important conversation is, therefore I like to use it as a foundation for teaching students individually or in small groups.

I have a passion for art and I am currently a volunteer in the Conservation Department of the Metropolitan Museum. I like dancing, cooking, and traveling. I love to play board games and to solve puzzles. On a rainy day, I appreciate a good book or a movie (my preference goes to dramas and documentaries).
